A day visit to Tarangire National Park in Tanzania offers the best wildlife viewing experience on a short trip. It is a journey through beautiful landscapes, open savannah grasslands immersed with acacia woodland, Iconic Baobab trees, Sausage trees and dense concentration of wildlife. The park has a large elephant population and is also famous for reptiles and diverse wildlife which makes it one of the best parks in the country. TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK DAY TOUR

At around 06:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha City and depart to Tarangire National Park (approximate travel distance of 150km or 3 hours.) Your journey will take you through Masai land, passing various African villages. We will drive past the Arusha Airport, Ngaramtoni ya Chini, Kisongo village, Makuyuni junction and then to Minjingu area. At around 10:30, we will enter the Tarangire National Park that offers vast panoramas of open acacia woodland and grass savannah. Look out for large herds of elephants (often two hundred together) and other unique residents such as fringe-eared Oryx and Lesser kudus. You might see lions, cheetahs and leopards. By midday day we will stop at the Sopa lodge for a hot lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive until around 16H00, when we exit the park and drive back to Arusha City, arriving back at your hotel around 19h00.
