Lake Manyara National Park is a truly unique place. Its beautiful scenic landscape is situated on the floor of the Great Rift valley escarpment. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and variety of wildlife including large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, bushbucks, dik-dik, wildebeests, buffalos, mongooses, klipspringers and approximately 400 species of bird life. Along the shore of Lake Manyara, you will see flamingos and other water birds like storks, pelicans and cormorants. Your day tour to Lake Manyara National Park will start and finish from your hotel in Arusha City.

DAY TOUR: Lake Manyara National Park

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK DAY TOUR

At around 06:30 am we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Lake Manyara National Park, approximately 126km west of Arusha). You will journey through Masai land past the Arusha Airport, Ngaramtoni ya Chini and Kikongo village to the Makuyuni junction and then to the colourful village of Mto Wa Mbu. At around 10:30 am we will enter Lake Manyara National Park to enjoy a game drive and everything the park has to offer. At midday, we will stop by the shore of the lake for a memorable picnic lunch before resuming our afternoon game drive that will end at around 16h00. We will then exit the park and return to Arusha City, arriving back at your hotel around 19h00.
