Our 10-day safari showcases a wide range of Kenya’s impressive wildlife and breathtaking landscapes! We visit the world-leading Ol Pejeta conservancy to enjoy the very best it can offer. This is followed by a visit to the Samburu National Reserve with its Special five (reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk, Somali ostrich and beisa oryx). We proceed to the Aberdare National Park with its unique floodlit waterholes for night-time viewing. Then we continue to the Great Rift valley lakes to visit Lake Nakuru which protects the highly endangered Rothschild giraffes and the black and white rhinos. You will overnight at Lake Naivasha, the highest freshwater lake in the Great Rift valley, with the safari ending at the predator rich plains of the Mara ecosystem.

KENYA BIG FIVE SAFARI ITINERARY

DAY 1: Nairobi

NAIROBI

You will be met by our Predator Safari representative at the Nairobi airport (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport).

He will assist you with your luggage and take you to your hotel in Nairobi where you will overnight at the Sarova Panafric hotel.

DAY 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
Enjoy breakfast before driving to the privately-owned Ol Pejeta conservancy. It is home to lions, savannah elephants, Cape buffalos, rhinos, cheetahs and leopards among others. Check into your lodge and enjoy lunch. Depart on an afternoon game drive.
Overnight at the Serena Sweetwater tented camp.
Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 3 & 4: Samburu National Reserve

DAY 3:
SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Depart to the Samburu National Game Reserve after breakfast. Check into your lodge and enjoy lunch. Depart for an afternoon game drive.
Overnight at the Buffalo Springs Simba lodge. Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Day 04:
SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Enjoy another full day in the Samburu National Game Reserve.
Overnight at Buffalo Springs Simba Lodge.
Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 5: Aberdare National Park

ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast we visit the Aberdare Country Club for lunch en route to The Ark. Spend the afternoon and evening watching wildlife from the lodge decks and underground bunker.

Overnight at The Ark.

DAY 6: Lake Nakuru National Park

LAKE NAKURU NP – LAKE NAIVASHA

After an early breakfast we depart to Lake Nakuru National Park. If time permits, we will stop briefly at the Thompson Falls (at extra cost) before going for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Late afternoon we head for Lake Naivasha where dinner awaits.

Overnight at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge.

DAY 7 - 9: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve

DAY 7:

MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Enjoy early breakfast. A morning boat safari excursion along Lake Naivasha (at extra cost) OR seat by your lodge on the lakeshore which offers a unique perspective on bird watching and wildlife viewing in Kenya. We depart with packed lunch to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Overnight at the Azure Mara Camp.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Picknick Lunch, Dinner.

DAY 8 & 9:

MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Enjoy two full days in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Hot Air Balloon Safari (at extra cost).

DAY 10: Depart Masai Mara – Nairobi (Drive)

DEPART MASAI MARA - NAIROBI

Join us for an early morning game drive before returning to the camp for breakfast. Spend the mid-morning at leisure. Drive to Masai Manyata for a cultural experience (at extra cost). Enjoy an early picnic lunch. Drive to the Ol Kiombo Airstrip for your afternoon scheduled flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. Our representative will meet you at Wilson Airport and transfer you to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
